LPI's structure

The Institute is a foundation registered in Sweden with the Christian Council of Sweden as a parent body. Its governing system consists of an international Board of Directors, an Executive Committee consisting of a number of members of the international Board, and a Senior Management Team which serves to advise the Executive Director. The organisational structure of LPI's head office located in Uppsala (Sweden) consists of an administrative and finance unit, a programme unit and a communication unit. LPI also has regional offices located in Nairobi (Kenya), in Bukavu (DRC) and Khartoum (Sudan).

LPI’s head office in Uppsala Sweden facilitates the implementation process, providing programmatic and administrative support to LPI’s field conflict transformation programmes.

LPI’s office in Nairobi, Kenya administrates the Peacebuilding with Regional Partners programme and the Somalia conflict transformation programme.

LPI’s office in Bukavu, The Democratic Republic of Congo administrates the DRC conflict transformation programme.

LPI’s office in Khartoum, Sudan administrates the Sudan conflict transformation programme.
